Dr. Philip Bird
Dr. Bird is originally from Youngstown, Ohio. He attended the United States Coast Guard Academy and specialized in Search and Rescue for six years. Afterwards, he attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry from 1978-1982 and then moved to Colorado Springs to begin his general dentistry practice.
Dr. Bird attends numerous hours of continuing education yearly to remain current in the latest dental technologies. His areas of special interests are placing and restoring dental implants and endodontic therapy, but he enjoys all phases of dentistry.
Dr. Bird and Annie spend their weekends engaged in home remodeling projects. Dr. Bird is also very active in personal fitness and finds time to occasionally take on various adventure/mud run/obstacle course type events.
Dr. Edd Wittenberg
Dr. Wittenberg is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. He completed his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University, and then attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry from 1978-1982. He returned to Lafayette and practiced general dentistry there for eight years. He then moved to Colorado Springs with his family in 1990 to join Dr. Bird, his dental school classmate, to form BIRD & WITTENBERG DENTAL PARTNERSHIP.
Dr. Wittenberg stays current with the latest in dental techniques by attending continuing education meetings throughout the year. Cosmetic dentistry and laser periodontal treatment are his areas of special interest, but looks forward to performing all dental treatments.
Dr. Wittenberg is married to his wife Terry of 35 years and has two children, Kelsey and Blake. In his spare time he enjoys hunting and fly fishing in the Rocky Mountains, traveling, cooking Cajun food and of course, watching LSU football.
